Bernard Wilson

Hi, this is Bernard. I'm a relative newbie in the world of Hospital Radio, starting in 2022 just after retiring from a 40+ year career in IT. Thanks to my parents and older siblings, I was brought up with an eclectic musical taste.

Currently, I'm presenting two shows. The first is the Classical Music Show (Sundays, 16.00-18.00), which is a great way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon. The second show is the Seventies and Eighties show, going out on Monday afternoons (14.00-16.00). This is where I get to play the music of my formative years. I’m also acting as the station’s audio librarian, trying to keep a handle on the thousands of CD and digital tracks that the station possesses.

Suggestions and requests for the shows are, of course, welcome – but I'd prefer to avoid playing any track involving a cup-final football squad or a children’s school choir!
