Fundraising Campaign

So why are we raising funds? you ask. Well, we need to build a brand new more accessible studio and move with the times by broadcasting our programmes over the internet to patients via their mobiles, laptops and tablets. The current studio equipment is 24 years old and is in desperate need of replacing. We are looking to replace the 2 computers as they are still running on windows 7 which can no longer be updated or maintained. A new mixing desk is required, and everything needs to be rewired. A broadband service is needed to connect our programmes to the internet so patients can hear us. With this upgrade family and friends will for the first time be able to listen at home and send messages and song requests to their loved ones in hospital. For the new studio we will need to install soundproofing to the walls and add curtains and poles to the windows and new desks for the office area. Any donations will be gratefully received to help bring Hospital Radio to patients in Sheffield Hospitals.
