Hello, Gary here, I recently joined the team at Sheffield Hospital Radio. I volunteered when an employment advisor said, "I think you should go out and get a fun-job", (having done 45 years in the Sheffield steel and delivery industries). I took the 'sound' advice. Enjoying every minute learning from and helping several friendly presenters broadcast their shows to the patients and staff of Sheffield's adult hospitals. (proof you can teach an old dog new tricks)

Come and join the team, it's relaxed and friendly, a great stepping-stone for all ages into radio IT, production, studio control & presenting or volunteer to meet patients and staff on the wards. I love being able to play every type of music and, hopefully, brighten the day of the patients and staff.
