After spending nearly 40 years working as a nurse within the NHS across South Yorkshire, I jumped at the chance to join the fantastic team at Sheffield Hospital Radio following my retirement.

Being part of Sheffield Hospital Radio allows me to combine two of my greatest passions: my lifelong love of popular music and my desire to continue supporting local NHS hospital services and the people they care for.

I've been an avid record collector for more than 50 years, with a collection of over 3,000 LPs at the last count! I'm also a keen gig and concert-goer, so you can expect plenty of music trivia, personal anecdotes, fond reminiscences and a healthy helping of Sheffield-related stories during my Wednesday evening Request Show.
