As a lifelong music lover and long-time volunteer with a variety of charities, I decided to bring my two passions together by becoming a presenter at Sheffield Hospital Radio.

I've been an avid gig-goer since my early teens and enjoy listening to just about everything, from pop punk, sixties classics, dance, country and folk to many other genres. While I love the spectacle of a big arena show, my heart still belongs to smaller venues and discovering up-and-coming artists. More recently, I've started singing and learning to play the bass guitar. I haven't quite made it onto the stage yet... but maybe one day!

We love receiving your requests, and because I believe music brings people together, I hope our programmes create a real sense of community for everyone spending time in Sheffield's hospitals.
