I love working in Sheffield and having the opportunity to connect with listeners one-to-one through the power of radio. For me, radio has always been all about the listener, and being able to brighten someone's day—or night—is what makes it so special.

People often ask what I'd be doing if I wasn't on the radio. I'd probably be a professional dog walker... or perhaps a helping counsellor! My favourite pastimes include enjoying a gin and tonic and taking my daughter's puppy, Molly, for a walk—although not usually at the same time!

Here's a couple of things not many people know about me: I was staying at Butlin's in Filey when Elvis Presley died, and I once met Paul Weller at an airport... he even bought me a pint!
